Zuzanna Lis

By creating films, I want to make people happy, inspired and hungry.

I was born and raised in Poland where I graduated high school with International Baccalaureate Diploma. In 2015, I moved to Winchester, England, to study Film Production at the University of Winchester. I spent four months in Japan as an exchange student, learning about business, culture and language. I discovered my passion for culinary cinema during Berlinale Film Festival.

I've been involved in Film Expo South since 2015 working with Gillian Tully. In November 2015 I joined Winchester Film Festival as a volunteer and a photographer while in 2017 I became an assistant co-ordinator. I worked with Nadine Collinson, Michael Butters and Georgie Palmer on the Winchester Portrait Exhibition as a film crew coordinator. In 2017 I joined the marketing team of Graze Festival and created digital invitations in collaboration with chefs working in Lainston House. That very summer I started filming for Sarah Parish and Jim Murray who founded The Murray Parish Trust. During my free time I film for Sofar Sounds Winchester. 

I am currently working on the production of an international supernatural thriller series, as well as producing my directorial debut Menu, two music videos and coordinating the international Winchester Film Festival. 

Time management is my speciality. 

I believe that the best is yet to come no matter what you do and how much you have already achieved. Knowing Polish, English and Spanish language, gives me the opportunity to travel the world, film and meet incredible creators. Luck and fortune is nothing without hard work.
